Who are we?

Riding House Café Ltd. (07208424), Rail House Café Ltd. (09476381) and Village East of Bermondsey Ltd. (09476381) are all registered at 1 Vincent Square, London SW1P 2PN, and operate as a group known as House Café Company. We are the controllers of personal data pursuant to this notice.

What do we collect?

Details including your name, email address, telephone number and sometimes personal preferences, when you share these with us (favourite table, allergies, etc.). Our websites also use cookies to provide everyday web services.

When do we collect it?

We collect the details such as those outlined above when a reservation is made at one of our restaurants, during your visit to our restaurants, and/or when you opt in to receive marketing communications from us.

Why do we collect it?

To provide a high level of service and a personal touch to our guests, and to keep those on our mailing list up-to-date our news, events and promotions.

Where do we store it?

This data is primarily held on our reservation system, on a secure server at the restaurant, protected by a firewall. Data for marketing communications (name and email address) is held on a secure web-based system.

Who has access to it?

Reservation data is accessible to our head office team, managers and trained receptionists. Marketing data is accessible to our head office team.

Do we share it?

We will never share personal data outside of the House Café Company group, other than through the use of a third-party system to provide our normal service, such as marketing communications. We also utilise Google Analytics to understand how our guests use our websites.
